Lichtblock® Forte Red Light Panel
Forte is our large red light panel for large-area applications of red and near-infrared light. With four wavelengths, intuitive operation, and versatile setting options, Forte can be easily adapted to different applications and routines.
Easy operation directly on the panel
Forte is operated via the integrated side-mounted touch display. Here you can select presets, create your own settings, or connect two panels and control them together.
6 presets for different applications
Forte offers six fixed presets for different applications. Simply select the desired preset and start the session with the preconfigured settings.
For energizing applications.
For short sessions before physical activity.
For sessions after physical exertion.
For relaxing sessions and quiet moments.
For evening sessions.
For targeted applications for the face or skin.
Your own programs
In addition to the six fixed programs, Forte offers two user presets that you can configure and save freely. This lets you access your preferred setup again at any time.
For your own programs and in Custom mode, you can individually select the intensity of red light and near-infrared light, set a duration between 1 and 60 minutes or Infinity mode, and activate a pulse frequency between 1 and 40 Hz if desired. The pulse function is also part of the fixed programs Relax & Meditation at 10 Hz and Energy at 40 Hz.
Red light and near-infrared with four wavelengths
Forte combines visible red light at 630 and 660 nm with near-infrared light at 810 and 850 nm. Both spectral ranges have been extensively studied in photobiomodulation research for many years. Red light and near-infrared can be adjusted independently in their intensity or used together.
The panel uses 450 dual-chip LEDs with a total of 900 LED chips. Each of the four wavelengths is assigned 225 chips.

Red light and near-infrared light in research
The application of red and near-infrared light is often grouped under the term photobiomodulation and has been scientifically studied for many years. Among other things, research looks at how light of specific wavelengths is absorbed by cells and how it can influence biological processes there.
Mitochondria play an important role here, as they are responsible for energy production in our cells. Research describes, among other things, changes in cellular energy metabolism and various signaling processes. Today, photobiomodulation is being studied in different areas, for example in connection with physical activity and recovery, as well as skin and general well-being.
How light works biologically does not depend on wavelength alone. Intensity, duration, distance, and the total amount of light absorbed also play a role.
Single or dual setup
Forte can be used on its own or together with a second panel. In a dual setup, both panels are connected to each other via a data cable and controlled together via the touch display of the master panel.
Two Forte panels create a continuous area of 45 × 182 cm. The vertical stand, the horizontal stand, and the wall mount can each be used with one or two panels.
Four mounting options
The compact solution for a single Forte panel. The floor stand is mobile and allows flexible positioning in the room.
For upright use with one or two Forte panels. The height of the stand can be adjusted individually.
For horizontal use with one or two Forte panels. The height of the stand can be adjusted individually.
For fixed, space-saving installation of one or two Forte panels on the wall.
Note: Stands and wall mount are available separately.

Irradiance
Irradiance was measured with an OHSP-350S spectrometer in the central area of the panel during combined operation of red light and near-infrared light.
| Distance | Irradiance |
|---|---|
| 15 cm | 74 mW/cm² |
| 30 cm | 65 mW/cm² |
| 45 cm | 61 mW/cm² |
| 60 cm | 59 mW/cm² |
| 90 cm | 54 mW/cm² |
Measured values may vary slightly depending on the measuring device, measurement method, and measurement position.
