Our well-known candlelight spectrum is now also available as an LED light source. Our Lichtblock 1500K E27 bulb creates a particularly warm, reddish-golden light, inspired by the soft glow of real flames. It creates an incomparably cozy atmosphere and is ideal for the evening hours, when body and mind should slowly come to rest.

Naturally warm light that is easy on the eyes

The spectrum of this light source has no energy in the blue range and shows its maximum at 620 nanometers. This creates an intense red component with a harmonious gradient, without any harsh or cold light.

The range around 555 nanometers is particularly decisive for the pleasant perception of light. This wavelength corresponds to the yellow-green range to which the human eye reacts most sensitively in daylight vision. Light sources with a high proportion in this range therefore appear very bright to us and can be perceived as dazzling, especially at high intensity.

The spectral output of our candlelight illuminant only increases significantly after 555 nanometers. This means that the light contains only a little yellow-green light and all the more warm red. This makes it subjectively softer, less glaring and particularly cozy, even at high brightness. It is precisely this gentle, red-accentuated gradient that creates the unique, flame-like atmosphere that you may already be familiar with from our Luce and Torre lamps.

The same spectrum that you already know from our table lamps is now finally available as a stand-alone E27 light source. So you can enjoy the same cozy, flame-like light character in any room, regardless of the lamp shape.

The candlelight illuminant is free of blue light components below 480 nm and is therefore ideal for the late hours of the day. It does not have a negative effect on melatonin production, promotes natural tiredness and supports restful sleep.
