Difference between LEDs and fire
LED spectrum
Blue light is light with a wavelength of approx. 380 to 495 nanometers (nm). This is short-wave and very high-energy light. Modern displays, LEDs and energy-saving lamps have a disproportionately high proportion of blue light. This stimulates certain photoreceptor cells and can lead to a dysregulation of your sleep-wake rhythm. This can have a negative effect on your hormones and metabolism.
Fire (candlelight)
Before we were able to turn night into day with the invention of electricity, there were only natural light sources in the form of fire. The big and decisive difference to today's light sources is the distribution of the light spectrum. As can be seen in the graph, blue and green are hardly present in candlelight. Furthermore, fire has no flicker effect, which can stress your nervous system. Therefore, fire usually has a calming effect.

I got the Clip On a month ago. Since then I have been reading in the evening before going to bed and putting them on in the morning until sunrise. I am much more relaxed in the evening and fall asleep within 5 minutes. However, falling asleep was never my problem, it was sleeping through the night. I think blocking the green and blue frequencies in the corresponding hours is part of the equation, and both blockers, glasses and clip on, do this part very well. Have looked at candle flames through them, the flames are actually more yellow through the glasses. This is because I don't have a spectrometer at home. I absolutely recommend it as a hack on the way to more strength and health. Thank you very much, dear team at Lichtblock for your great work.

Feels quite good, my sleep quality has improved slightly, unfortunately I'm still in my shift mode (I'm retired now), but I think that will get better. Clip ons fit very well on my glasses. The dark model I ordered helps relax the eyes and the head at night. They do help improve my sleep.
Ich benutze ausschließlich das Licht am Abend im Bad. Man muss sich an das leichte Licht gewöhnen, vor allem in großen Bädern. Aber seitdem ich das große Licht am Abend nicht mehr anmache, schlafe ich besser und länger durch.
Nur zu empfehlen.
Bin früher oft mit "Flackern" vor den Augen ins Bett und konnte nicht gut einschlafen. Mit den gelben Clip-ons ab 18 Uhr geht es viel besser. Kein Flackern mehr und der Schlaf ist auch erholsamer. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
Seit 4 Wochen habe ich die Brille und trage sie (fast) jeden Abend um meinen Körper besser auf Einschlafen vorzubereiten. Das klappt gut! Ich bin viel entspannter und ruhiger und kann schneller einschlafen. Die Brille sitzt gut und stört weder beim Küche aufräumen noch beim Fernsehen.

Super angenehm zu tragen. Nutze die Brille hauptsächlich zum Autofahren. Das Licht entgegen kommender Fahrzeuge blendet nicht. Hatte immer Probleme bei Nachtfahrten - jetzt nicht mehr.

Ein tolles, handliches Gerät und trotzdem sehr effektiv. Ich verwende es als Anti Aging Produkt für das Gesicht und Hals ebenso gegen Verspannungen Rücken und Nacken.
