The problem: Blue light in the evening

Difference between LEDs and fire
LED spectrum
Blue light is light with a wavelength of approx. 380 to 495 nanometers (nm). This is short-wave and very high-energy light. Modern displays, LEDs and energy-saving lamps have a disproportionately high proportion of blue light. This stimulates certain photoreceptor cells and can lead to a dysregulation of your sleep-wake rhythm. This can have a negative effect on your hormones and metabolism.
Fire (candlelight)
Before we were able to turn night into day with the invention of electricity, there were only natural light sources in the form of fire. The big and decisive difference to today's light sources is the distribution of the light spectrum. As can be seen in the graph, blue and green are hardly present in candlelight. Furthermore, fire has no flicker effect, which can stress your nervous system. Therefore, fire usually has a calming effect.

Produkt sehr gut, fühle mich damit abends besser - kann schneller einschlafen.
Habe zuerst die ganz dunkle Brille bestellt und festgestellt, dass mir das zu dunkel ist. Rücksendung und Rückerstattung des Geldes problemlos. Die Italia sleep wurde mir dann ebenso komplikationsfrei sofort geliefert. Bin sehr zufrieden und würde jederzeit wieder bei der Firma Lichtblock bestellen.
Perfekte Lampe, sieht top aus und richtig gut verarbeitet und durchdacht: das Licht ist in jedem Spektrum angenehm und für viele Aktivitäten geeignet, die Dimmfunktion macht sie perfekt. Beim Rotlicht schlafe ich sowas von gut und schnell ein, total entspannend :-).
Seit einem Monat habe ich nun jeden Abend - wie auch jetzt - meine Blueblockbrille auf, ob ich am daddeln an IPad oder iPhone bin oder TV gucke. Sie sitzt super und tut auch nicht hinter den Ohren weh. Ob ich wirklich dadurch besser schlafe, kann ich noch nicht sagen, aber da sie so gut zu tragen ist, habe ich es mir einfach zur Gewohnheit gemacht.
